Chris & Nichole Rouse:  Please keep our friend, Brycen in your prayers. He has been having some odd heart issues.  Doctors are uncertain what is going on but the issues resemble a heart attack. Brycen is only in his mid-20’s and is asking for prayers so these issues can be resolved.

They do think she may have had a small stroke within the last month because she is having a difficult time verbalizing what she wants to say. They are recommending that she go into a nursing home now instead of an assisted living facility.

Cindy Wood: I would love prayers for my fibroid surgery on January 8. Please pray for a safe procedure and a quick recovery.

Church Family Update…

Please let us know if anyone has any need… This is one time when it is good to talk about each other. If you know of someone’s specific need or someone who feels particularly discouraged, please pass this along to the church office.

Thank you, Scott Rouse… Your Bible class on Ruth was excellent.

Kirk Davidson begins a new Bible Study today… He will teach from the Book of Esther.

Remember our Food Pantry needs… Canned Fruit, Juice, Pasta Sauces, Hot Cereal, Soup, Chili, Biscuit Mixes, Hot Cocoa, Toilet Paper, and Hygiene Products.

Please pass along information about our food pantry… There will be more and more people in need of food in the coming months. It is OK to let those in our community know that we are here to help feed the hungry. We have no worries about being taken advantage of by those in the community. We believe God will sort that part out to protect His church. But we are eager to keep those in need and want new people to learn about the blessings we are prepared to provide. So please, help spread the word.

Our coat drive continues… We will be collecting coats throughout the winter. Especially be on the look out for big sales where coats are on clearance. As you run across bargains just drop them off at the building. Hats, gloves, and scarves are also welcome.

Prayer Requests…

Dan Dupey: Please pray for Margie Waddell. She has been tested positive for COVID. We are thankful for a spiritually uplifting class on Ruth. Continue to pray for Greg Petersen (seriously ill with COVID). Prayers are appreciated, as my sister Marilyn is much better, but extremely tired from COVID. Continued prayers for Glenda Bonaiuto and Sandy Priddy both are in great need of our support. Pray for our country, a special New Year, and for this COVID expansion to dissipate.

Misty Stemmene: Continue to pray for my niece, Kristina. Her surgery went very well, prayers for a speedy recovery. Please pray for my dad, AJ. He is not feeling well.

Larry & Sylvia Slate: Pray Myrtle gets good results from her tests. Pray for Ron as well. Continued prayers for our country. Praise God for Pete & Mary Petersen.

Marsha Becker: Please pray for the recovery of my sister-in-law’s brother, Don. His body has been ravaged by COVID, and he is on a ventilator in the ICU in Arizona .

Claudia Moberg: Praise God, my brother was discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home.

Kent & Georgette Rude: Please pray for our friends, Randy & Laurie Hartley at the passing of her mother and her father who is in the hospital.

Larry Priddy: Prayers for Sandy. She fell on her right shoulder. She has severe pain in her back and shoulder area.

Betty Jo Clark: Please pray for people with COVID and to find a cure.

Helen Rouse: I miss you all and thank you for the cards and well wishes. Also, for the mini portraits of the Kleins’ and the yummy jam from the Campbells’. I love you.

Glenn & Judie Sanborn: Please pray for Margie Waddell. She tested positive for COVID. She is in quarantine at home. She sleeps a lot, coughs and has no sense of taste. Prayers for quick healing.

Church Office: Prayers for Dave Hopkins. He began a new job last week to help COVID patients at Kootenai Health connect with their loved ones. Pray for all those hospitalized with COVID & their families.

Michael: Please pray for our congregational ministers as we develop plans for blessing our church family and our community for the next few months. We want to be led by God for His glory.

Cindy Wood: I would love prayers for my fibroid surgery coming up on January 8th. I am hoping for a safe procedure and quick recovery. Thank you.

Happy New Year!

Dear church family,

We have another short work week. The church office will close at noon on Thursday and be closed all day on Friday as we welcome in the new year.

Therefore, we need to get all our prayer requests, updates on how we are doing, as well as, any information on the needs of others that you may know about sooner rather than later. You can call, email, send by carrier pigeon, or relay a message to the church office by any other means you choose. Just please remember we need all this info by Wednesday at the latest.

Blessings and Happy New Year,
Michael
