Family News…

Easter Sunday next week… Thanks to all who helped pass out flyers yesterday about our Easter Sunday activities for the whole family. It is not too late for you to help pass the word too. We decided to forgo the expense of advertising in various publications this year and instead rely on our church family to personally pass the word and invite people. Your personal, one-on-one invitation to a friend or neighbor is far more powerful than seeing any ad. We pray you have the courage and heart to bless your neighbor by inviting a neighbor to be with us next Sunday.

There are extra flyers, like those we passed out yesterday, in our lobby today… Take as many as you wish and pass them out to the homes in your neighborhood. Or, take the half page insert in this Family News and give that to a neighbor with your personal invitation.

Thanks for your help with providing items for our BIG Breakfast next Sunday… Keith Fredrikson appreciates the good response and wants you to know it’s still not too late to help out. He is looking for those who can bake or bring a breakfast oriented casserole, a main dish, or fruit (if you are able to bring your dish in a disposable container the fellowship committee would sure appreciate it!) sign-up on the sheet in lobby or note it on a Communication Card if you can help out.

Remember our food pantry… We are running short of numerous food items. We need: bread, soup, crackers, Nutella, Velveeta, Hamburger Helper, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, salad dressing, jelly, peaches, pineapple, toothpaste, tooth brushes, paper towels, shampoo, and body wash. We are expanding our pantry to included toiletries, diapers, paper products, and coats (all sizes).

Note from Betty Williams… “I’ve been overwhelmed with the medical support staff it takes to set up for home health care and so it has been hard to work around the medical staff and have many church visitors. Right now, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays are filled with their activity. However, Mondays and Thursday are more open for visits. All I ask is this, please call in advance to check if it is a good time to visit before coming over. I love you all, thanks.” Betty Williams
