Family News…

We’re looking for help… We need some adults to join the youth group in passing out flyers around the immediate neighborhood surrounding the church building. We want to let our neighbors know about the Sunrise Service on April 17th. If you could just give 60-90 minutes to this effort, beginning at 11am this coming Saturday, April 9th.

Easter Sunday Big Breakfast… Keith Fredrikson is still looking for support in putting together our Easter Sunday breakfast. He is looking for those who can bake or bring a breakfast oriented casserole, a main dish, or fruit. If you are able help, fill out the options on the sign up sheet in lobby, or note it on a Communication Card. The church will provide the bacon, sausage, muffins, and drinks.

Remember our food pantry… We are running short of numerous food items. We need: bread, soup, crackers, Nutella, Velveeta, Hamburger Helper, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, salad dressing, jelly, peaches, pineapple, toothpaste, tooth brushes, paper towels, shampoo, and body wash. We are expanding our pantry to included toiletries, diapers, paper products, and coats (all sizes). The boy scouts and girls are also helping as a service project.

Family Promise is using our building the week of April 17th… Please volunteer to help with this ministry for the homeless by signing up for one of their areas of need listed on the white board in the lobby.

Today is the deadline for donating an item for the basket benefiting Family Promise… Perhaps, if you didn’t donate an item, they will also take cash so they can buy items too.

LIFEgroups are important… New groups are being formed and soon we will provide the location for each so you might find a group near you. We need this opportunity to build closer relationships among our church family.

Please be praying and inviting your friends and neighbors to join you in some church activity in the coming weeks (Especially around Easter)… Let’s continue to actively bless our neighbors as Jesus would, and look for opportunities to honor Him in your interactions.
