Our Worship…I’m Gonna View that Holy City |
Church Family Update…
Wednesday night group is gathering… There is something for all ages, meeting at the church building from 6-7pm for a brief time of worship followed by Bible classes and discussion. Check it out.
Attend Sunday Bible Classes… Jim Klein begins teaching “How We Got The Bible” this Sunday.
New Monthly Gathering Begins September 25th… The new ministry is called, “Sharing Hearts.” It will be a time of sharing scripture, discussing God’s blessings and life’s challenges, lifting each other up in prayer, and talking about how to help and encourage others. Doesn’t this sound great? All this and brunch, too. 9-11am every last Saturday of the month at our building. If you have questions call upon Dan DuPey or Dave Gutierrez who are co-leading.
Be planning for DEBT FREE SUNDAY!
On Oct. 3rd, we will release this church from our debt. If you are unable to be here on the 3rd then please give early or late, but please clearly label your check so it may be properly counted (or hand your envelope to an elder).
Dalton Gardens Ladies Retreat (Oct 1-3)… It will be held again at the Savenac Historic Tree Nursery in Haugan, MT. Meals are provided. Bring a dessert or snack to share, bedding, toiletries, a Bible, clothes, and embroidery materials. If you haven’t already, call the office to sign up.
Dan and Teri DuPey’s, “Celebrating Teaching,” scheduled for Oct. 9 has been postponed… It’s because of the increase in COVID concerns.
Thanks to all who helped with the Mountain States Children’s Home food drive… You did great.
Social media is a two-edged sword. It can be used to bless and used to hurt. From teens to the oldest among us, let’s be careful to do what Paul say: “Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouth (or fingertips), but only what is helpful for building others up (Eph. 4:29).” If you notice something that seems worrisome among Christians on social media please mention it to one of our shepherds so they might help. Let’s all remember to: Tweet others as you would wish to be tweeted.
