Church Family Update…

The Mountain States Children’s Home needs our help with their food drive… This begins today and runs through September 12th. You will see a list of items they are seeking are spread around the church building. Be watching your email for a complete list of the food items they seek. As you always do, let’s again be generous in supporting this good ministry.

Mark your calendar for Family Promise… We will be hosting Family Promise families, starting the at the end of August. Volunteers are needed. The sign–up board is in the lobby today where we can offer our help to support Family Promise staying in our building. There will also be a meeting to train new and returning volunteers today immediately after our worship gathering.

We continue to pass the offering baskets and communion trays this morning; while also providing the sealed communion items and a shoebox to safely give your offering and Communication Cards. Choose the option that best helps you to feel safe.

Remember our Sunday morning Bible classes…. Rod Bristol is currently teaching the adult class on Crucifixion. Let’s be a part of this opportunity to learn from God’s word.

Hey Youth Group!
Our Silverwood Trip is August 21st! I encourage you to sign up in the lobby for this! We will spend half the day in the park and the other in the water park, Bolder Beach! Contact Christian or sign up in the lobby! Christian will also have waiver forms available to fill out as well. We will meet at the youth barn 8:30am and return 10pm.

Look How Alis Has Grown!

Alis Castillo Gonzales

We began supporting Alis in Nicaragua when she was just a small, frail child hoping to begin school someday soon. Now look at her. Even though the children’s Bible group meeting up front before worship has not met for over a year and thus a loss of the kids contribution; we have continued to pay the $39 a month to help with school expenses and to make sure she eats  breakfast and lunch. If you want to make a special contribution to help with this expense just contact Michael or an elder.
