Church Family Update…

Our attended nursery is back… Lindsay Rude is working as our nursery attendant through July. Rachel Davidson is our Nursery Supervisor and would love to hear from those willing to volunteer for a month at a time.

Happy Father’s Day… Dads make sure you pick up your very expensive gift in our lobby today before leaving. Hope you believe it is the thought that counts, 😉

We are returning to passing the offering baskets and communion trays this morning… However, anyone who is uncomfortable with that, the sealed communion items and offering shoebox will remain in the center aisle. If you have any questions, the elders welcome them.

Remember your baby bottle… This Sunday is the deadline for turning them in. So, those who took a bottle, to fill it with change to help Open Arms Pregnancy Care Center. You can also bring your bottle in to the office next week if you forgot today 🙂

WE HAVE A SPECIAL PROJECT FOR SOMEONE… This morning you will see some of the improvements we have been working on for the past year. But we have a couple of small jobs that need attention. We need to spruce up the dressing rooms for baptisms. We need a new collection of towels, hair dryer made in this century, full length mirror that doesn’t look like it came from an amusement park and so on. If you have interest in helping with these rooms to be more welcoming just talk to Michael and he will give you more details.

Remember our Sunday morning Bible classes for children and adults… Arrty Rude is finishing up his study on Humility. Thank you for the great class, Arrty. Wayne Frisbie will be teaching his class next week, Fear God, Fearlessly through August. Let’s get back to being part of this opportunity to learn from God’s Word.

Remember to pass along your prayer requests… Please turn in your Communication Cards. Hopefully passing the basket will increase our prayer requests.
