Let Us Worship
Church Family Update…
Today we honor our graduating seniors… It is always an important inflection point in ones life. Let’s give these seniors the recognition they deserve for what they have accomplished. They are: Christine Gutierrez, Jesse Harlan, Makena Sande, Caleb Swaim, Rosie Campbell, Rachel Cutler, Britni Welter, and Sadie Annotti.
Just to complete some loose ends… We carried a church van full of food for Newby-ginnings just before Memorial Day weekend. We basically quadrupled their food pantry and some of the volunteer workers had tears in their eyes from your generosity. And also please know when we asked you to text or email a vote for Newby-ginnings as they were up against another charity for a $2,000 gift from a car dealership. Well, our votes counted and Newby-ginnings won by a significant margin to receive the check. They wanted me to make sure I told you thank you…So, thank you.
Remember our Sunday morning Bible classes for children and adults… Arrty Rude is currently teaching the adult class. His topic, “Humility…” Arrty will be teaching through Fathers’ Day. Wayne Frisbie is on deck, teaching through August. Let’s get back to being part of this opportunity to learn from God’s Word.
Remember your baby bottle… Those who took a bottle to fill it with change to help Open Arms Pregnancy Care Center should know the money filled bottles are due to be turned in no later than June 20th (Father’s Day).
Remember to pass along your prayer requests… Please turn in your Communication Cards. Prayer matters.
Thanks to everyone who helped and attended Bob Brown’s celebration of life yesterday. Bob’s family deeply appreciated our efforts. Again, thank you church.
