Church Family Update…

We are so thankful for moms among us… Please pick up a small gift from us for the important work you do in blessing your children.

Remember our Sunday morning Bible class… Arrty Rude has begun a new class on…  “Humility.” Check it out. And a special thanks for Dale Herboldt’s class on, “Angels.”

Baby Bottle Boomerang begins today… Please pick up your bottle in the lobby so you might collect your change to support, “Open Arms.” They help unwed mothers who wish to place their children with loving parents. It is a great cause.

Calling all LIFEgroups… It is time to start discussing meeting again. We know a few groups with younger members began meeting some weeks ago. As more and more are vaccinated, groups should assess when they can safely meet again. LIFEgroups are extremely important to our church life.

Pottery Painting Day… May 24, 6:30-8:30 at Hands To Art. If you would like to attend please RSVP to Alyson Klein 405-401-6596 (alysonklein@gmail.com) Pay for your own project. Bring finger foods and drinks to share.

Remember to pass along your prayer requests…. Sometimes there is not a lot we can do for another going through a crisis except to communicate our support of them. But we can always enlist our church family to pray for them. It’s powerful and effective. Respond today with your requests.

We are continuing a food drive for Newby-Ginnings leading up to this year’s Memorial Day… This non-profit group is benefiting vets returning home after their service to our country and has become a favorite of our church family. Here are the requested items: soup of any kind (but tomato is a favorite of vets); canned meats (tuna in water, chicken, beef); pork-n-beans, French cut green beans; diced tomatoes, carrots, canned potatoes (including yams); Ramen noodles (any kind, these are in great demand); creamed corn, canned fruit, apple sauce; and boxed cereals.
