Church Family Update…

Family Promise… We will be “hosting” our Family Promise family with meals only. June 14-27. The sign-up whiteboard and directions on how to drop off meals is in the lobby or call Emily Moore for more information.

Baby Bottle Boomerang… This Sunday brings to a close the annual fund raiser for the Open Arms ministry that works to encourage women with unwanted pregnancy to carry the child to term so their can be an adoption. If you simply want to write check to Open Arms and drop in the offering box and we will see it gets to the correct place.

Betty Evans 100th Birthday… The drive by parade for Betty will be held Saturday, June 27th at 1:00. Meet at River City Middle School 1505 N Fir St. Post Falls. This is a block away from Living Springs where Betty lives. Call Judie Sanborn for more information.

A Coffee Ministry… Our updated lobby is designed to encourage fellowship before Bible Classes and/or Worship gatherings. We hope you can come a few minutes early to sit, relax, and chat with each other over a cup of coffee or tea. There are members who want to undertake our new coffee bar as one of their ministries, and as such, they will endeavor to provide a higher quality coffee, cups, lids, and eventually snacks. With the added value of these supplies, we ask our members to refrain from going through the cabinets and the refrigerator where supplies will be maintained. Please allow those operating the coffee bar to serve you. We will be doing our best to make our coffee bar self-supporting. There are a few families committed to financially helping with the coffee and tea supplies. In a few weeks there will also be a jar where we can donate to offset costs. Enjoy this new ministry.
