Attention: Our elders are carefully listening to public health and medical professionals about how long we should not meet together. They want to keep us all safe. The elders ask that no LIFEgroups meet together until further notice. They ask we remain as patient and as careful as possible.
Since we have a one-person church office, it will remain open as much as possible as an information clearing point for the congregation. While we encourage no one to drop by the office, we hope we can keep each other informed through email. Please send your updates to: email@example.com.
Church Family Update…
Family Promise Hosting Week… Is not going to be in our building but we will still need help with meals for our families. Mar. 29 – Apr. 5. Please call Emily Moore for more details.
GriefShare… After considerable thought and prayer, Grief Share is postponed until September. Please call or text Dale Herboldt with any questions.
CCS School Auction… Because of the school closure in place, at least until April 20, the Auction will be postponed until late May or beyond. Please pray for our Christian school students, parents, and staff.
Our Easter Celebrations… We will not have a Sunrise Service or Big Breakfast this year.
Men’s Game Night… has been put on hold for a few weeks. Please join us soon at Rod Bristol’s home. Details to come.
DGYM… All of the SNL (Sunday Night Live Devo) and TNT (Tuesday Night Teen Group) meetings have been put on hold until further notice. More details coming soon!
Emily Moore’s Baby Shower… Save the Date! The shower will be Saturday, June 13 at 2pm at the church building if the crisis abates. We will keep everyone updated and have RSVP information closer to that date. Amazon Baby Registry is shorturl.at/fBFY4 and we are open to used items as well. Thank you for your prayers!
A Way to Participate… Hayden Mayor, Steve Griffitts proclaimed March 29 as the city of Hayden Day of Prayer, Meditation and Service for all citizens affected by the COVID-19 pandemic: “As your Mayor, with the support of the Mayors of Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Rathdrum, I ask you to pray for the health and well-being of your fellow Americans and to remember that no problem is too big for God to handle, “I encourage all Americans “to pray for all those on the front lines of the response, especially our nation’s outstanding medical professionals and public health officials.”
No matter where you live, let’s all use this Sunday as a time when we pray throughout the day for our communities and area of North Idaho to remain healthy and safe.
During these uncertain times, when more and more people will be sheltering at home; know you may send your church offering remotely. Go to the app store on your smart phone (Android or iPhone) and search for Givelify. Then add the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ. You can download this app for free. You can also click this link. And now you can give to our congregation without ever leaving your home.
