Church Family Update…

Sunday Adult Bible Class… Larry Slate is teaching in January on, “In the Good Old Days.” Start the new year with a commitment for Bible study.

Parenting Class coming in February… Mike Wood has been teaching classes on fatherhood for a number of years in our community. This February and March Mike will be leading a class on parenting (and it applies to grand-parenting too).

Family Promise… Saturday, February 8 @ 5:30pm is the Northwest Fest dinner, art, and auction, fundraiser. Enjoy a buffet dinner featuring chicken and salmon. Bid (silent and live auction) on a broad range of art and other goodies. It is all for a great cause, benefiting Family Promise. See Freda Campbell for more information.

Ladies Night Out… to see the play “Church Basement Ladies” at the Sixth Street Melodrama in Wallace. The play will be at 7:00pm on Saturday, March 21st. We will meet at the church building at 4:30pm to carpool to The Brooks in Wallace for dinner, and to the play afterwards. Tickets are $15. Please sign up in the lobby. Tickets will be purchased by March 1st, make sure you sign up by then. Any questions, please contact Alyson Klein.

Join us on Sunday, January 26th for the BIBLE BREAKOUT CHALLENGE!!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to compete in teams to break into your boxes to get your reward. All the information you will need to complete your challenge will be shared with you on Sunday, January 12 and Sunday, January 19 so be sure to come to Bible class those days, too!

Family Focus…

Who Will Be Our New Chili Champs? You Will Decide! This is chili cook-off Sunday and the plan is to have everyone take small samples of at least four different pots of chili; then you will decide what chili is best. You will find a tray that holds up to four cups so you can try different types of chili.
