MIQVAH is a weekend youth rally for all
6th-12th grade students hosted by the
Dalton Gardens Church of Christ. The
theme for MIQVAH this year is
UNEXPECTED! From an unlikely shepherd
boy leading Israel’s army to a teenage
girl being chosen to be the mother of
the Messiah, the Bible is full of
examples of God working in unexpected
ways to bring about His plan and
purpose. Our prayer for MIQVAH this year
is that our teens will be challenged and
encouraged to rise up beyond what our
culture (and sometimes us as adults)
expects of them, to live radically for
Christ, and to expect God to use them in
unexpected ways right now. The weekend will be full of exciting times of worship to God. Students will be challenged and blessed by some powerful messages from our guest speaker, Ross Harmon, from the Northwest Church in Seattle, as well as be encouraged and have the chance to share in some small group sessions led by our own Dalton Gardens teens. Everyone will be able to get all "gussied up" for our "Dress Your Best" Banquet (don't forget to wear green!), then be mesmerized and entertained by the famous comedian/illusionist Jared Hall! The cost is only $30 if you preregister by March 2nd. (After March 2nd or at the door the cost will be $40) |
