Some basics about Congregational Leadership...
1. The congregations of the New Testament had multiple leaders.
Romans 15:25, 26; Acts 15:6-35; Acts 14: 23
2. There are three words that describe the congregation’s spiritual leaders.
1 Peter 5:1-4
A. Presbuteros = presbyter and elder .
B. Episcopos = bishop and overseer .
1 Timothy 3:1; 10
C. Poimen = shepherd and pastor .
Hebrews 13:17
All shepherds are "Under Shepherds" .
3. There are no perfect leaders .
Who would want to do this ?
Who would think he is this kind of man?
