The concept of stars has a rich heritage in scripture...

- Genesis 15:5, Descendants of Abraham
- Job 38:7, Heavenly beings singing
- Jude 13, false teachers
- Isaiah 14:12, Lucifer
- But by far, the most references are to Jesus

Calling Jesus the Bright Morning Star emphasizes that Jesus is the supreme  glory  of heaven.

1. He is the  herald  of the new day.

Eph.4:30; Phil. 1:5; Rom 13:12; 2 Tim 1:12

2. He is the  help  of the whole world.

John 3:16

3. He is the  hope  of every believer in a dark world.

2 Peter 1:19 (TLB); Rev 2:26, 28
