When we call him Jesus CHRIST, what are we saying?
1. We are calling him Messiah .
John 1:41-42; John 7:25-27; 7:40-44; Acts 1:6
2. We recognize Jesus willingly suffered and died for our deliverance.
1 Cor. 1:23; John 12:34-37
3. We are confessing our need for the benefits of the cross of Christ for our salvation.
Mark 8:27; Acts 11:26
4. We are acknowledging that His Kingdom is not of this world.
John 18:36-38
5. We are naming Jesus as our Prophet , Priest , and King .
