"Let Us Turn from our Wicked Ways"

2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and
pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Main point: God will tune in when we turn around .
What is holding us back?
Deuteronomy 30:17, 18
1. Turning from God begins in the heart (Isaiah 29:13).
2. You start tolerating more and more sin in your life (Prov. 23:7).
3. You start finding substitutes for God in your life.
Hebrews 6:1-3
1. There are some basics in which every Christian should be well-grounded.
2. The church can’t grow spiritually until the basics are second nature in our lives. (Joel 2:12, 13; Isa. 53:6)
3. Revival cannot come as long as we put up with the stench of sin in our lives. (Acts 3:19)
