"Humble Yourself, Pray and Seek HIS Face"

2 Chronicles 7:14

REVIVAL: It is when God spiritually  awakens  his people and brings a renewed  passion  for living for Christ.

REVIVAL comes from God, but the people must be  prepared  for it to take root.

The first thing God wants to see before he sends revival is a  humbling  of HIS church.

2 Chronicles 34:27; 2 Chronicles 33:12, 13; Daniel 10:12; 1 Peter 5:5, 6

What does it mean to seek humility?

A. A humble church is where people  share  their burden for the way things should be.

Jeremiah: Nehemiah: Jesus

Do you have a burden for this congregation?

B. Seeking humility means stressing the discipline of  prayer .

Col 4:2; 1 Thess 5:17; Mark 11:24; James 5:16

C. We seek humility by demonstrating a hunger for  holiness .
