"Light the Fire... Have a Match?"

Two Questions:
1. What does it mean to be a member of the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ?
2. What happens when God sends a revival ?
What it is NOT:
A. Not a week of evangelistic preaching .
B. NOT a special activity .
C. NOT the same thing as church growth .
REVIVAL: When God awakens His people spiritually and brings about a renewed passion for living Christ’s life.
What it is: Acts 3:19, 20
Why the gap between what we say we believe and what we live?
1. Revival cannot be manufactured .
2. One request: Prepare our hearts .
Rev. 2:2-4; Jeremiah 2:2; Heb. 5:11, 12; Heb. 6:12; Heb 12:12
3. God sends revival from time-to-time... but it will bless those who have the heart for it.
Jeremiah 29:13; Mal. 3:7; Isa 57:15
4. God can only fill those who are not filled with themselves .
1 Peter 5:5, 6; Heb. 6:4-6
