Introduction...
Heaven is corporeal .
The Gnostics believed flesh was evil and therefore God’s Son could not have come in the flesh.
1 John 4:2
A recent poll conducted among Christians said two-thirds of the people surveyed said they believe we will be disembodied spirits in the next life.
Two things we can expect in heaven...
1. We will live in a material place.
John 14:2; Heb. 11:6; Heb. 13:14; Romans 8:18-22
2. We will have a spiritual body.
Romans 8:23, 24; 1 Cor. 15:42-22; Acts 1:11
What do we do in the meantime?
1. We cope and we hope .
Galatians 5:18; Romans 8:14; 1 Cor. 12:4, 5; Romans 8:16; Acts 1:8; John 3:5; Romans 8:9; 1 Thess. 5:19
2. You can’t be spiritual without the Spirit .
