There are vows exchanged in a wedding. (Acts 8:3-37; 1 Tim 6:12) 4. Then there is a ring . (Eph 1:13-14; Acts 2:38) 5. A wedding is where the wife publically announces her willingness to submit to her husband. (Eph. 5:22-24) 6. There is an appeal to a higher power. (Acts 8:16; Acts 4:12) 7. There is a new name .
