Lesson Five: "Growing in Grace"

2 Peter 3:18: “...Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

What are the blessings of Growing in Grace?

1. Grace  redeems  the sinner into a saved person (Eph. 2:8,9).

2. Grace  supports  the Christian in their spiritual growth (Phil 1:6).

3. Grace helps us to say  "no"  to sin (Titus 2:11,12; Rom. 6:13,14).

4. Grace  equips  me to minister effectively (1 Cor 15:10; Rom 12; 1 Cor 12).

5. Grace gives me the  strength  to overcome life’s trials (2 Cor. 12:7-9).

6. Grace encourages us toward  excellence  (2 Cor. 5:14,15; Heb 10:24).
