Why Does Grace Offend or Scare so Many?
1. Perhaps it is a wrong view of God.
2 Peter 3:9; John 3:17; Luke 15:11-31
2. Perhaps it is the wrong view of freedom .
2 Cor. 3:17
3. Then there is the wrong view of salvation .
Ephesians 2:8, 9
4. And finally there is just a wrong view of self .

Two Lessons:
1. One of the greatest temptations that the church can face is to demand anything in addition to grace for salvation.

2. Being Baptized into Christ is not a human work, but a work of God to glorify the cross .
Galatians 3:26-27; Colossians 2:11, 12
It really is AMAZING GRACE .
