Matthew 27:57-66
What happened right after Jesus died?
1. Joseph buried him.
2. Female followers of Jesus were present at the tomb.
3. The tomb was secured out of fear .
4. And it is important to note: The eleven male disciples were hiding out.
THREE LESSONS FOR LIFE:
1. Be realistic ... There will be times of disappointment .
2. Be patient ... Desperate circumstances can be quickly reversed .
3. Be faithful ... God’s rewards are not always immediate .
The ultimate test of our faith is if we can hold to
our faith when
the stone isn’t rolled
away in three
days .
