Crucifixion was a horrible and painful way to die.

Why did he stay on the cross?
1. Love kept him on the cross.
John 10:18; 1 John 3:16; Ephesians 5:1, 2
2. He understood how faith works.
3. He had prophecy to fulfill.
Ps 41:9; Zech 13:7; Zech 11:12; Mic 5:1; Is 50:6; Ps 22;1, 7, 16, 18; Is 53:12; Ps 69:21; Zech 12:10; Ps 16:10
4. He had a job to finish .
Acts 2:22-24; Gal 4:3-5; 1 Peter 1:18-20; John 19:30
Who crucified Jesus? We carried the nails in our pockets.
