Section One (JOB 1:1-5):

1. JOB was a  spiritual  man.

2. He was  blessed .

3. He cared about the  spiritual   well-being  of his children.

The message: JOB was a  good  and  decent  man.

LESSON ONE: Life is NOT  fair .

Section Two (JOB 1:6-12):

1. Satan is a unique  being .

2. He  roams  the earth looking for opportunities.

3. The devil’s power is  restricted .

1 Cor. 10:13; 2 Peter 3:8-9

LESSON TWO: Without explanation, sometimes God allows our  faith  to be tested through  suffering .

Section Three (JOB 1:12-20):

The storm arrives…

LESSON THREE: When you suffer, the most important question is not who to  blame  but who to  trust .

1. Worship is for the  hurting  because it reminds us there is  help .

2. Worship reminds us we are not  alone .

3. Worship is a declaration of  faith  in someone greater than ourselves in the face of not understanding the “Whys of Life.”

Section Four (JOB 1:21):

“The Lord gives and the Lord takes away...Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Matthew 11:28-30
