What a Way to Save the
World
(Reflections on the Birth of Jesus)

Luke 2:1-7
“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders;
make the most of every opportunity.”
Col. 4:5
"‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,’
declares the Lord.”
Isa. 55:8
If I were God (I know, a scary thought):
1. I would have come at a different time .
2. I would have come to a different place .
3. I would have come in a different manner .
4. I would have chosen different parents .
5. I would have chosen a different accommodation .
6. I would not deal with the sin problem the way he did.
7. But there is one thing I would have done the same...He arose .
Two thoughts for this time of year:
1. Look for God in the simple things, not just the spectacular things.
2. Never lose the sense of wonder for God’s love.
