Lesson Three: “Just Say No to Satan”

James 1:13-15

1. Temptation is   certain  .

A   trial   refers to the difficult circumstances of life.

A   test   is how we spiritually respond to trials for growth.

But when tests are designed to hurt us spiritually they are called   temptations  .

Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 2:11

2. The source of all temptation is never   God  ...but always   evil  .

The anatomy of sin:

A. We are   dragged     away  .

B. Our sin is   enticed  .

C. Then desire is   enticed  .

D. Then a   habit   is formed.

E.   Death  .

Galatians 6:7

Remember when it comes to sin the   pain   of the harvest always out weighs the   pleasure   of the sowing.

TWO WORDS:   BE     SMART  .

Proverbs 9:12
