Matthew 11: 2-8

Why would John doubt?

1. John’s circumstances were   terrible  .

People make the   assumption   that there is a direct correlation between God’s love and
our   circumstances  .

People think   God   is supposed to do things   their     way  .

2. John didn’t mess around, he went   right   to the   source  .

Two kinds of doubt...

3. Jesus didn’t show   irritation   at doubt, he just offered   evidence  .

4. Remember... We may not always have every   curiosity   made   clear   when we want it to be.

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Heb 11:1
