1. Anticipate that some conflict is   inevitable  .

John 16:33

2. Keep Jesus   first  .

Matt. 6:33; Phil 4:8, 9

How:

A. Keep your spiritual commitment   daily   on your mind.

B.   Practice   being spiritual together.

C.   Pray   together.

3. Save your conflicts for the   really     important     stuff  .

Prov. 11:12; Prov 10:19

4. Don’t be afraid to   confront   when necessary.

Matt 5:23, 24; Eccl 3; Matt 18:15

How to Confront:

1. Ask   permission  .

2. Be   timely   and be   careful   (Eph. 4:26, 27).

3. Speak the   truth   in   love   (Eph 4:15; 29-30).

4. Ask for   forgiveness  .
