Lesson Three: “He Defeated Death”

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25, 26

How did people respond to the resurrection?

1. Mary Magdalene’s reaction was   feeling   is believing.

John 20: 13-16

2. For most of the disciples   seeing   is believing.

John 20:19, 20

3. For Thomas   personal     proof   is believing.

John 20:24-28

“Because you have seen me you have believed, blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”  John 20:29

If you believe the resurrection is true don’t   cheapen   its importance by   minimizing   its impact on you life.
