Philippians 2:1-16 - In Tribute to “doulos”

FIRST POINT: The motivation for a servant’s attitude is   GRATITUDE  .

1 John 4:19; 1 Peter 2:21; Col. 3:13

Count your blessings from being   UNITED   with Christ.

Count your blessings from being   LOVED   by Jesus.

Count your blessings from having the   SPIRIT   in you.

Count the blessings of experiencing   TENDERNESS   and   COMPASSION  .

SECOND POINT: If you really believe God takes care of you, then the most important thing left for you to do is take care of   OTHERS  .

Two Lessons:

We are never more like Jesus than when we give ourselves up for   OTHERS  .

Godly sacrifice for   OTHERS   never goes unrewarded.
