Joy is   ESSENTIAL  . However, Joy is also   OPTIONAL  .

True Joy does not depend on your   CIRCUMSTANCES  .

…But where you put your   TRUST  .

John 15:10-11: If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Philippians 1:3-11: Do you want to be able to choose Joy in All Circumstances

1. Be thankful for the good   MEMORIES   (vs.3-5).

2. Be   CONFIDENT   in what God can do (vs. 6-8)

3. The more we are like   JESUS   the greater our   JOY   (vs. 9-11).

Avoid the   JOY     STEALERS  ...

Summary:

Joy comes when we choose to be   THANKFUL  .

Joy comes when we choose to trust   GOD   to be   GOD  .

Joy comes when we choose to be   JESUS  .
