Lesson Four: “Giving is a Privilege, not an Obligation”

“Watch Out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12:15)

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” (Acts 2:44-46)

First, Remember God’s Law of the   HARVEST  .

Galatians 6:7, 8; 2 Corinthians 9:6-9

• You   REAP   what you   SOW  .

• You   REAP   more than you   SOW  .

• You   REAP   after you   SOW  .

• We should   SOW   in   JOY  .

•   SOWING   in generosity is   SUBJECTIVE  .

Second, Remember God loves to   BLESS   the   GENEROUS  .

Matthew 6:3, 4; Matthew 10:42; Hebrews 11:6

How:

• We will be made   RICH   in every way ( 2 Corinthians 9:10, 11).

• We will   RECEIVE   more than you give (Luke 6:38).

• We will receive a   GREATER   blessing (Acts 20:35).
