Lesson Seven: “Charge!”

James 2:14-19 and 26: What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that — and shudder… As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

REMEMBER:

1. Christianity is a relationship with the Lord that is less about what you know and more about how you L I V E.

2. Christianity is a relationship with others that is less about what you want and more about how you can H E L P others.

3. Christianity is a sacred trust that is less about what you have and more about what you G I V E.

4. Christianity is a mission that is less about waiting around for something to react to and more about M O V I N G  A H E A D with what we have.

Church…Do you know what time it is?

It is time to C H A R G E!
