Holy Spirit 101:
1. He is a P E R S O N not an

2. Because the Holy Spirit is a person, He is either
in us
C O M P L E T E L Y or he isn’t.

3. The “gift of the Holy Spirit”, “Baptism of the
Holy Spirit,” and the “promise of the Holy Spirit” are used
I N T E R C H A N G E A B L Y in scripture.

4. While we receive the same Holy Spirit the first
Christians did, the spiritual gifts He provides changed with the

In Conclusion:
The ultimate purpose of the Holy Spirit is to help
us become more like J E S U S everyday.
