The Joy of Generosity

Dave Shaner

April 13, 2003

Introduction: The subject of giving is really a study of faith. Can we really believe what God says about this subject? Do not allow abusive teaching to cause you to miss out on something that God has in mind. Possessions and materialism can be a trap that can cause us to lose our dedication and commitment to the kinds of spiritual disciplines God wants us to have.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  - Matthew 6:19-21
