Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even
though they are strangers to you. They have told the church about your love. You
will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God. It was for the
sake of the Name that they went out, receiving no help from the pagans. We ought
therefore to show hospitality to such men so that we may work together for the
truth. - III John 5-8
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the
firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the
supremacy. - Colossians 1:18
When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." - Matthew 20:24-28
