Trusting God

Introduction: Everything belongs to God and we are to use all we have for Godly purposes. Giving your best means giving your all. But also it is important to trust God in this matter.

Malachi 3:8-10
I Chronicles 29:14

I. The starting point for honoring God with our wealth is the ____________.

A. 2 basic beliefs:

B. Is tithing for today?

1. Jesus affirmed tithing. - Matthew 23:23

C. The way we give is a window into how committed our hearts are.

2. Don't give to meet a budget, but to honor God.

II. What does it mean to honor and not rob God?

Conclusion: Would you be willing to live on 10 times what you're giving to God? When you trust God, you never waste a penny. It is all investment.
