Team Update

On Monday we say goodbye to the 2008 interns. :(  We have had a great summer and have been incredibly blessed by these young people who are so passionate in seeking God. To Ben, Dustin, Brock, Josh, Meredith, Heather, Jen, Nikki, Zach, Adam, Andrew and Le Chat, we love you very much and we thank you for blessing our lives!

We continue to seek partners to help fund our well project and our team school, Kara Christian Academy. If anyone is interested in finding out more about how they can be involved in these aspects of our team, please e-mail us at kabiyemission@yahoo.com

David, Becky, Hannah, Elijah, Gabriel & Caleb Reeves - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

Greetings from the Reeves family! We've had a nice last couple of weeks. David was able to finish up the well in N'djei with the help of Kabiye people from the entire N'djei cluster and the help of our summer interns. The well is producing clean water very well and David and the Christians in N'djei are very happy with the success and solidness of this well. We also really enjoyed our visit with Ryan and Melissa Head, our future teammates a couple of weeks back. There are now 5 wells that are producing water very well and successfully here in Kabiyeland. Praise God!

This past week as the rest of our interns and Brett and Matt were on survey in Mali our family enjoyed the first break of more than three days without visitors in our home since early March. We really enjoyed the quiet and getting to spend special time with one another and each of our children. Elijah and Gabriel have become "best buddies" over the summer and we've enjoyed watching the relationship of all of our children together over the past few weeks.

Becky has begun a weekly study with a couple of ladies that work at the grocery store where we buy our meat here in town. Please pray for this time of reading the Bible in Kabiye together and for her discipleship time with Christianne and Hodalo, a lady who lives on our street.

Please also pray for David and Matt as they leave this Saturday to attend a church planting conference in Zambia and our interns as they leave for the states on Tuesday as well as those of us taking the interns down to Lome'. Thank you so much for your prayers!!
