Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@gmail.com

Hello friends. It has been a couple weeks since we posted in the newsletter. David has been on the road a lot during the past week as he returned the Neals to Accra for their trip back to the states. He then picked up Becky's mother, Fran Henniger, and returned to Kara. Then immediately he drove to Lome to renew Togo visas for the entire family. All in all he drove about 30 hours in 4 days. Hooray! We really enjoyed having the Neals back in Kara and now we are enjoying Fran's visit. The kids have loved having her around and we are keeping her busy. We are celebrating Thanksgiving early with the team from Dano, Burkina Faso. They have been gracious enough to brave the long roads of Burkina Faso and Togo and we are thankful to have them. Aaron and Andrea Burke and their two boys Daniel and Dylan are staying with us and we are glad to host them.

The kids are doing great. Not only are they enjoying their Grandmommy, but life goes on and they are also continuing to enjoy school. Elijah in particular has been having a great couple weeks. He has been taking his personal behavior at school very seriously lately and has been rewarded with good behavior awards. Gabriel has turned 4 years old and this past Thursday celebrated with his friends by having a Spiderman birthday party. We are so proud of Gabriel and he is taking increase in age very seriously as well. Caleb can't decide whether he wants to walk or not. He flirts with it and then sit down and takes off crawling. Hannah is doing well also and is becoming a young lady. Her big thing lately has been art. Grandmommy brought sketch pads and now the art is flowing. Please continue to pray for our children.

Work has gone well. David has had good visits to Bodowdaa, Hade Te/Kaacade and Tchefengda. Particularly in Hade Te and Kaacade, teachings are being received with genuine acceptance and community is developing among the believers there. Hade Te began building the foundation of their new church building on Sunday and they are excited to have a place to meet at some point in the near future. The Bible study group in Tchefengda continues to grow in numbers and there is a possibility that baptisms will take place during the week. Also, this past Sunday we worshiped with the church in Soumdina Po Wayi. We were so encouraged by our worship with them and it was very clear that God was glorified through the worship time we shared together. God is moving in Soumdina Po Wayi and we praise God for their faith. Please continue to pray for the upcoming area wide ladies' retreat in the village of Lassa Tchou December 7th - 9th.

We praise God for you as well and are thankful for the partnership in the Gospel that we share. To God be all the glory!
