Team Update

We realize that it has been some time since our last newsletter. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience as we try to figure out the best way to get the newsletter back on a regular schedule.

Classes at the Kabiye Christian Academy started a couple of weeks ago. Teachers Katie and Tracey, are working hard to illuminate the minds of the 6 students who attend there. Please pray for our school and its ministry.

Many of the Kabiye churches are beginning to pray about and look for new places to evangelize. Please join them in prayer, asking for the Spirit's guidance and power to be upon them.

Also, please continue to pray for the Kennells as they seek a sponsoring church, the Emersons as they attend language school in France and the Millers as they minister to the college students at Harding University.

Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

Our family has arrived back safely to our home in Kara. Thank you so much for all of you who prayed for our trip and our transition. They were both relatively smooth and we praise God for the ways He continues to be so gracious in supplying all of our needs. We've settled into a weekly routine of work and are enjoying settling into our house that we had moved into only a month before we left for the states. We found our phone line to be down and our freezer stopped working within the first week, but both problems seem to be fixed for now. Praise God!

David and Becky are both battling some allergies (rash, itchy eyes, itchy mouth etc.) with David having more trouble time than Becky. Please pray for these allergies to be relieved soon by either the absence of the allergen or medication that can kick the allergic reactions. Our day to day patience is tried when we're itching everywhere! The children are all doing well and Hannah, Elijah, and Gabriel are enjoying school and their teachers, Katie and Tracey, who are doing a great job! Caleb is adjusting well to Togo and had his first village visit outside of the womb last Sunday in Lassa Tchou. He slept through most of the morning and didn't seem to mind being passed around after church to the eager hands that awaited him!

When we were in the states both of our dogs died, along with our African grey parrot. We miss them not only as pets, but also as security for guarding our house. We were able to buy a new German Shepherd puppy this past weekend in Lome' whom we've named "Jack". Pictures will follow in the next team newsletter. We also enjoyed visiting with the Koonces and Crowsons in Tabligbo this past weekend while we took care of errands in Lome. It's always a blessing to spend time with their two families.

We miss so many of you that we were able to spend time with over the past few months and the many of you we didn't get to see, too. You are all in our prayers and mean so much to us. Thank you for your continued support of us through prayer! Love, David Becky and children
