Team Update

It has been a couple of weeks since our last newsletter was sent out. We apologize for the delay. Things seem to be going well on all of our teams' fronts (and there are many as we are all spread out). Be sure to read everyone's update to hear how things are going in Kabiyeland, France, Arkansas, Washington and Tennessee.

The Kabiye churches are doing well on the whole. The 6 weeks without any missionary presence went smoothly and seems to have been a period of growth for many of the churches.

Please pray for the safe arrival of our new school teacher, Katie Skipper. She is due to arrive here next Wednesday, Sept. 20th.

Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

Greetings from the Reeves. Our time in the states is beginning to wind down a bit as our departure date of October 2nd rolls closer by the day. We are beginning to purchase last minute items and pack up for the trip back to our home. Please pray for that process to go well.

Hannah and Elijah are enjoying there time at Sacajawea Elementary and are particularly excited about an all school skating party tonight. They like their teachers and are making many friends. We are thankful that they are getting to have this experience. Gabriel is doing well also. However, he does at times feel somewhat left out of the school thing. Yesterday he went with David to take Elijah to school and was so upset that he couldn't go to school as well. He is really growing up and we are enjoying getting to have time with him at home during the day. Caleb is growing like a weed! He is getting chunky and will only get bigger at the rate he is eating. Chow time is his time! Please continue to pray for him and for Becky as well.

This weekend we are going to be in Silverdale, Washington (Seattle area) at the Silverdale congregation to be a part of their Mission Weekend. They have joined in our work and we will be presenting to the congregation as well as meeting with their mission committee. Other missionaries that they support will be present as well and we are excited to meet them. Please pray for this weekend that God will guide it and further deepen the resolve to be about God's mission.

Remember to visit our blog at http://kabiye4christ.blogspot.com for news about our family and our work. We love each one of you and are thankful for your service in the kingdom. God bless you this week! The Reeves
