Team Update

The summer internship is in full swing in Kara! The Millers are hosting five students, and they had a busy week visiting churches and encouraging Christians. The Reeves, Rieses, and Emersons are furthering the work among the Kabiye by connecting with many of you, our state-side team! The Kabiye team is currently working with 16 churches and 6 preaching points.

TEACHER SEARCH: We are still praying and looking for a teacher for the 2006-07 school year. If you are interested (or know some else who is) please contact Tracey at btries@kabiyemission.org!

Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

Thank you so much for your prayers for our family this last week. We had a week filled with a constant sense of God's providence, peace, and presence. We found out that we qualified and were accepted for medical assistance and Becky also met with her doctor who was very accommodating and helpful. She is doing well and doing her best to pace herself so as to avoid contractions as much as possible. The doctor said everything is looking good right now and we are thankful to be close to good medical care. The Lord continues to provide grace upon grace to us and we are humbled by His love and overflow of blessings we have no right to but accept with thankfulness. Please continue to pray for Becky in this pregnancy. David began his 11 week Bible class series this Sunday on the work the Lord is doing among the Kabiye as well as motivation and principles of God's mission in the world. He is also speaking at another congregation this evening and will be doing some preaching on Sunday mornings in Richland over the next few weeks. Please pray for the Lord to put His words in David's mouth so that he might faithfully speak truth to those who are listening.

Our big family news is that Elijah lost his first tooth this past week! It is such fun to watch our children reach new milestones! Hannah was almost more excited than Elijah for him to have lost his first tooth! Hannah and Elijah have joined the summer reading program at the library and they, along with Gabriel, are enjoying spending time with their cousin Andrew and swimming as often as possible at the neighborhood pool down the street. Please continue to pray with us for our teammates ministering in different places in the states and in Togo as well as evangelism that is underway among the Kabiye. We miss everyone very much and look forward to seeing everyone again in the Lord's timing. May God bless you this week Love, The Reeves family
