Team Update

Greetings and blessing from the Kabiye team. This week, we praise God for the outpouring of generosity and prayerful commitment to missions at the GracePointe Church of Christ, sponsoring church of the Emersons. Over $100,000 was given to the church yesterday! The Kabiye team is currently working with 16 churches and 6 preaching points.

TEACHER SEARCH: We are still praying and looking for a teacher for the 2006-07 school year. If you are interested (or know some else who is) please contact Tracey at btries@kabiyemission.org!

Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

We are finally feeling settled! Yeah! David moved nearly the last things from the house today and will spend most of tomorrow afternoon getting the house cleaned for inspection. All that remains there are three big potted palms and a lot of empty rooms. Each visit brings a few more memories of everything that happened in that house. We will miss it but are sure learning to enjoy where we are now living. Everyone in the family is doing well. No sicknesses to report.

Becky is doing well. There are still a few contractions from time to time but she continues to manage them nicely. While we are on the subject of Becky's pregnancy, we would like to announce that we are for sure having a boy and I mean no doubt about it. We had an ultrasound done this past week and he was far from bashful about show us his \"stuff.\" The baby looked great and it appears that all the inner parts are developing and working well. Praise God!!

Also we want to announce that we will be going back to the States at the end of May for the remainder of the pregnancy. We have made this decision after much prayer and deliberation with our supporting church in Richland, Washington. Also, each missionary health care individual here in Kara counseled us to return to the States because of the preterm contractions. Because each one of them will be in the States during all or part of that time as well, we will be accepting their counsel. For those of you who prayed concerning this decision, we are extremely grateful for your spiritual support. This decision was not arrived at lightly as we love our home here and love the work that is going on among the various churches. However, at this time remaining here for the birth seems to be an unnecessary risk and we feel God has confirmed that in many ways. We ask that you continue to pray for us and for Becky and the baby. We love each of you very much and pray that God will be with each of you. The Reeves
