Team Update

This week has included a lot of traveling for much of the team. The Rieses along with Regan headed down to Ghana for the annual West African Missionary Retreat (see picture) while Matt returned home from a trip to Harding University in America. This week the team is preparing for our annual all-church conference which will be hosted by the village of Lassa Tchou. The Kabiye Team is currently working with 16 churches and 6 preaching points throughout Kabiyeland.

Hi from the Reeves! This is a busy time for us as I am sure it is for many of you as well. We are all doing well including Becky and are thankful for your prayers and for the faithfulness of God in answering concerning her pregnancy. Becky as been doing well and is maintaining her constant state of listening to her body and resting a lot. She has done a good job of balancing working around the house and resting so as to prevent most of the contractions. Please continue to pray for her and the unborn child that is developing in her womb. As some of you know, we are in the process of moving to a new house here in Kara. Tomorrow we begin the actual moving part. We have spent the last week packing and cleaning and throwing/giving a lot of things away. It always blows my mind how thing can accumulate so quickly. Anyways, we are hoping to be in our new house by Thursday of this week at the latest maybe even earlier. We are very thankful for so many good folks who will be helping us the next couple of days.

This week has been a vacation of sorts for our family. Most of the missionaries in West Africa spent this past week attending the annual WAMR (West African Missionary Retreat) at Coconut Grove Beach Resort in Ghana. We did not go because travel would not be good for Becky. Therefore we stayed here and did a lot of moving preparation. We also spent a couple days at the pool in town and enjoyed some time off from work. David did go to Legue Legue on Tuesday and had a good visit with them. The big upcoming event will be our All Church Retreat on Easter weekend. Please be praying for this important event that God will bless it and many Christians will be encouraged. We love you all and thank God for the rich blessing you are in our lives and pray that we can return the blessing. Thank you. The Reeves
