Team Update

The Kabiye Team has safely returned from our team retreat in Accra, where we saw off the Neal family. Though it was difficult to say goodbye, we are confident that God will use them mightily in their new ministry at Camp Deer Run. The Neals have arrived safely in Texas and are visiting with family. We have quickly jumped back into our work, and now that the season of funerals has passed in Kabiyeland, several new evangelistic outreaches are beginning. One new preaching point should start this week in Soumdina Kade, the village that Christians from Soumdina Po Wayi have targeted for evangelism, and one will re-start in the village of Tchefengda where Christians from the Hade Te/Kaacaade cluster will be working. The Kabiye team is currently working with 16 churches and 6 preaching points.

Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr

Greetings from our family to each one of you. This past week has been one of transition for our family in a couple of ways. First and most obvious we made our trip back from Accra safely and thank you for your prayers concerning that journey. Secondly, we saw the Neal family off to Texas and are now in the process of adjusting to their absence. We would continue to ask that you pray for their family and for our team during this transition time. Our family is doing well over all. Becky is suffering through some kind of stomach bug that is being passed around the team, but overall she is doing well and the pregnancy is progressing as it should. Hannah, Elijah and Gabriel are healthy and we are thankful that God gives us the privilege of watching them grow and learn.

Work has been on hold for the most part during our time in Accra, but the wheels of the Kingdom keep on moving. Friday David made it out to Bodowda and had a good teaching time with them on the subject of confession. He also spent some time encouraging them to go to the village of Nyaode to begin arranging evangelism time there. Please pray for them to have courage to go and speak with their friends and family there. And as always, please continue to pray for our family, our team and for the Lord’s work to be done here so that he is glorified. We love each of you and thank you again for your support and prayers. God bless! The Reeves -Check out our blog at http://kabiye4christ.blogspot.com
