Team Update

In addition to the regular village meetings, seminars were held this week in Bodowda and Po Wayi. Also, this was the last week to have the Neals with us in Kara. Our team will be going to Accra this coming week for one last retreat with them and to see them off. Please keep this trip and our team in your prayers. The Kabiye team is working with 16 churches and 4 preaching points throughout Kabiyeland.

Greetings to each of you and we hope that this note finds each of you enjoying the blessings that are only found in Christ. This has been a good week for us as a family and a good week for work here. This a busy time of year here as funeral celebrations are going on all over the countryside. People are traveling long distances to celebrate with family and friends and often this causes February to be a little slow and sometimes frustrating. However, we have been enjoying some great village visits as a team and God is clearly working in the lives of our Kabiye brothers and sisters. This week David spent an afternoon and night out in the village of Po Wayi teaching a seminar on Evangelism. It was encouraging to see them respond to teachings on the Holy Spirit and the power at their disposal to obey the command of Jesus and go. The church in Legue Legue has built half a building and will be continuing that building project in upcoming days. Please be praying for these two churches that God will continue to encourage them on in growth and that they will soon reach out to nearby villages.

Our family is doing well. Life is always challenging, but there are also great rewards that come with those challenges. This week has been challenging in one sense because of the Neals upcoming departure. We will truly miss them and want to praise our heavenly Father for bringing them into our lives in such an intimate way over the past several years. Our family's health is good overall and we are looking forward to the next week being spent in Accra. We will be seeing the Neals off and having a much needed break while there. Becky is doing well in here pregnancy. She is still feeling some nausea from time to time so continue to pray for her health and comfort as the pregnancy progresses. Know that you are in our prayers.
