Kabiye Team News Team Update Andrea's parents, Gary and Linda Gearhart, are visiting over the next three weeks, and the whole team is enjoying having them with us. The Kabiye team is currently working with 16 churches and 4 teaching points throughout Kabiyeland. Reeves Family Update - kabiye4christ@yahoo.fr Greetings from the Reeves' household! We pray that your week has been blessed. David had an encouraging meeting with a couple of the members of the Kara Bon Berger church this last week as they studied the mystery of God, Christ in us. Please continue to pray for this small group of Christians here in Kara, as they strive for unity and for evangelism of others in their community. David is also looking forward to a seminar he is doing Tuesday evening out in Sanda Te this next week as he teaches on evangelism. Please pray for David and all of the other men on our team as they teach for more concentrated amounts of time through seminars in various villages this month. Becky has really been enjoying the blessing and challenge of teaching the kindergarten boys and on Fridays, Rachel Neal, too! This last week their theme was milk and they talked about different cultures and kinds of milk they drink or don't drink. (The Kabiye, by the way, don't drink any kind of milk at all!) They also made butter and learned how to "milk" a cow with rubber gloves filled with milk and small holes poked in the fingers. The highlight, however, was getting a visit from the school pet from last year, Joanna, a goat the Dolingers bought. She is pregnant again and was very patient as one of our guardians, Tchalla, showed the children her utter and where her milk is produced. Hannah, Elijah, and Gabriel are all enjoying their days and friends and they are a blessing to love as they grow in the Lord. Please continue to pray for our family, team, and the Kabiye. May God bless you! |
