Team Update

Our team has recently had a number of comings and goings, both here in Africa and abroad. This week is our school's fall break, so many of us have taken the opportunity to travel a bit. We enjoyed a visit from Andy and Melissa Johnson, who are missionaries in Burkina Faso. Also, the Reeves return to Kara from their furlough at the end of the week. Be sure to check out reports from the Reeves and Emersons on the Together for Togo conference! The Kabiye team is currently working with 18 churches and 4 teaching points throughout Kabiyeland.

Greetings from the U.S. for the last time in awhile! We are busy packing and spending time with friends and family preparing for our return flight to Togo this Tuesday, October 18th. This last weekend was filled with sweet reunions and spiritual encouragement for us at the Together for Togo conference that was held here in Richland. We enjoyed seeing so many old friends and especially enjoyed our conversations with our future on-field teammate, Brett Emerson, and our former on-field teammates, Mark and Nicole Kennell. What joy it was to spend time with the Kennells again 3 different times on this furlough and to see how the Lord has been working in both their lives and ours in similar ways over the last three years!

Please pray for our return trip to Togo, especially for the children and their re-adjustment to life in Africa and to school days. Gabriel just began climbing out of his port-a-crib at night and we've started the two year old "stay in bed" days now. Please pray for him to have a teachable spirit as we train him in the ways of our family and house and for us to be consistent and loving.

Please also continue to pray for the Lord to provide funds for a new vehicle for us. A special contribution will be held on Sunday, December 4th in a number of churches we are in contact with. Please pray for this Sunday and for the Lord to provide funds in the faithful way He always does.
