Team Update

The Kabiye team is currently working with 18 churches and 3 teaching points throughout Kabiyeland. Over the past two weeks, 4 people in Tchikpiou and one in Bodowda were baptized into Christ. Our interns all survived – and even enjoyed – a 4 day, 3 night bonding experience in out in the village. Finally, our teammates the Emersons have found a sponsoring congregation, the Grace Pointe Church of Christ in Montgomery, AL. Brett and April, and ‘little E’-on-the-way, plan to move to Montgomery this fall.

Greetings from the home of the brave! We just enjoyed our first fourth of July in the states in 6 years! We had a wonderful time with David's family watching a parade in downtown Coeur d'Alene, eating a wonderful meal cooked by David's mom and seeing the beautiful fireworks over the lake that evening.

Our trip to the states was shorter than it has been in the past with only two flights and an 8 hour layover in London. The first flight was difficult as Gabriel screamed for well over two hours but the second one was much better. During our layover in London we went into the city and our children are still talking about getting to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham palace and Big Ben and "Little Ben". We also got to see Prince Charles driving by right in front of our tour bus!

We look forward to visiting with many of you over the next few months and covet your prayers for our teammates who are continuing to "hold down the fort" in Togo and for our Kabiye brothers and sisters and others in Kabiyeland who still need to hear the good news. We love you! The Reeves
